Welcome
It is with bittersweet excitement that my journey at South Piedmont Community College comes to an end. It has been a journey of growth and self-discovery, one in which I have pieced together my interests and fostered my skills, dreams, and potential—all of which are included in this ePortfolio.
I invite you to explore this archive of my accomplishments and ambitions as an aspiring wildlife conservationist and artist. My ePortfolio will give you a glimpse into who I've been over the past few years and the person that I am growing into as I pursue goals, dreams, and adventures. Each page explores and expresses a different part of me—my dreams, both near and far in goals, my extracurricular activities and love for learning in additional education, my academic development in core skills, my professional skills in program outcomes, and my growth as an artist, love for the arts, and travel photography within my gallery.
As a lover of the arts, natural sciences, and wildlife, I have incorporated a scientific illustration theme into my ePortfolio with an emphasis on animal and botanical art, as I feel it best intertwines my passions, interests, and future academic and career paths. Throughout history, scientific illustrators have played a significant part in the development of knowledge and conservation of the natural world, with their endeavors to faithfully depict and represent the environment and life around them, combining scientific accuracy with visual appeal. I can only hope I will have similar impacts with my future research and artwork. That said, I hope you enjoy learning about who I am and what I love!
